Nationwide Payment Systems is offering free replacements for qualifying Clover equipment, ensuring businesses can stay ahead of upcoming changes without added costs. If your business uses older Clover devices, it is essential to understand how the End-of-Support (EOS) fee could impact your operations—and how we can help you avoid it.

What Is the Clover End-of-Support Fee?

Clover has announced that several older payment devices will soon reach End-of-Support status, meaning they will no longer receive software updates or security patches. This creates potential risks for businesses, including system disruptions and security vulnerabilities. To encourage businesses to upgrade to newer, supported devices, Clover plans to introduce an EOS fee of $99.95 per device, effective February 15, 2025, monthly!

Which Clover Devices Are Impacted?

The following Clover devices will no longer be supported:

  • Station (C010)
  • Mobile (C020/C021)
  • Flex (C041)
  • Mini (C030/C031)
  • Station 2018 (C050)
  • Station Duo (C053)
  • Mini (2nd Generation) (C032)

If your business uses any of these devices, now is the time to act. Nationwide Payment Systems is making it easier by offering replacement equipment to eligible businesses, helping you upgrade at an affordable price. You can get new clover devices or look at other options that are out there in the market. We can show you what options are available.

    Why Upgrade Now?

Upgrading to a new Point of Sale System or Payment Terminal provides multiple benefits:

    • Enhanced functionality for smoother business operations
    • Greater security to protect against fraud and cyber threats.
    • Long-term reliability to avoid disruptions in payment processing.

Waiting for an upgrade could result in additional fees on your March 2025 statement. By upgrading now, you will avoid these fees and future-proof your payment systems.

Nationwide Payment Systems offers multiple options, Retail Point of Sale, Hospitality Point of Sale, or a Payment Terminal. Our solutions are cost-effective, and we offer competitive pricing, transparency, and great customer service.

Extended Deadline: What You Need to Know

Originally, the EOS fee was set to begin on January 15, 2025, but Clover has extended the timeline. Businesses now have until February 15, 2025, to upgrade their devices and avoid the fee. Use this extra time to ensure your business transitions smoothly to the latest equipment.

You need to upgrade, or switch to a new system that is not clover, there are many options available to use for your business.
